The Living Stone Day Spa & Resort will be a new destination in the Tarboro, NC area, offering customers the combination of massage, body treatments, facials and anti-aging treatments. We will offer exotic treatment rooms representing different regions of the world including Europe, Egypt, Greece, The Orient, The Caribbean, and Colorado. The site will feature a small golf course and other recreational activities like a tennis court and swimming pools. The settings will be upscale, beautiful and serene, and it will be a relaxing escape from everyday stresses of the world.

We are primarily targeting potential clients within a thirty-mile radius of Tarboro, NC with a household income over $25,000. Our secondary market will include visitors staying in local hotels. Within the U.S., approximately 14% of the population has never tried a massage. We will assume that a conservative 70% of these two categories has tried a massage and would undergo one again, if offered appealing services at the right price. Our market Analysis table thus reflects 70% of the local and visiting population who might be targeted. Resort customers and spa customers will divide our target market. Resort customers will be from every age and gender; however, since the resort and spa will be in direct association with each other, we expect that the spa market segment will greatly affect the resort market segment. Thusly, our target market segment will be male and female professionals and retirees, from the age of 25
