finding garment wholesalers

I have been creating t-shirts for some time and my friends seem to like my designs How do I get in touch with the wholesalers to sell these products? Do I just knock on doors until someone lets me in?

wholeseller books

There are many industry books on the market. Normally they are very expensive($1000's) but you can find them in your library and make copies of the important pages. These books have manufacturer, wholesaler and buyer info

In New York just go to the Science and business library:
