AWIB will be hosting a unique leadership workshop, Leading with Confidence: Finding Your Inner Strength, open to all Asian female undergraduate students.
As part of the AWIB Emerging Asian Women Leadership Initiative, an effort to encourage and support leadership among the young female leaders of tomorrow, this workshop is designed to teach and support the skills needed to be a leader at school, at work and in our communities.
Areas such as interpersonal communication, public speaking, goal setting, and team building will be addressed. Participants will engage in group exercises and role playing as part of learning the concepts of leadership.
Participants are invited to join the AWIB Scholarship Awards Reception following the workshop, to meet and congratulate the 2009 scholarship recipients and members and supporters of AWIB. Program Details:
